CRUMB RUBBER
LOW FIBER AND METAL CONTENT FOR COUNTLESS HIGH-QUALITY APPLICATIONS
WHAT IS CRUMB RUBBER?
By reducing scrap tires into small, uniform granules, Crumb rubber is made. Along with other kinds of inert pollutants, dust, glass or rock, inherent reinforcing materials such as steel and fiber, are all eliminated.
For a wide range of industrial applications, Rubber Future has the national capacity to manufacture more than 350 million pounds of crumb rubber annually.
Use / Applications
Crumb rubber is used mainly in running tracks, grass- surfaced playing areas, stadium playing areas, miniature golf courses and in artificial turf infill.
Benefits
The addition of crumb rubber to sports surfaces offers two key advantages: increased protection and improved performance. The rubber-modified surface absorbs much of the impact when applied to running tracks, thus preventing pressure on the body.
Other benefits of this product are
- Safer playing surface
